Kilbally Dream (Paddy)
I can`t believe 5 weeks have gone by since I got Paddy home. He has been a real Star. He was great with the Dentist, Vet (second Jab) and the farrier. He has been such a good boy to handle and a real leader on hacks with very little bothering him (though we have yet to tackle the route with the BIG SIGN and Bunting flapping near the track) He is very willing to school though that has been put on hold a little with the weather this last week due to some flooding. Many thanks for pairing us up, he is all that I could have wished for.
I brought Thistle from you a year ago just emailing you to thank you for selling me such a kind genuine horse I love her to bits and she is great to be around. She has given me so much confidence and even my two year old daughter can sit on her! Today I took her to her third dressage show and we came first in one class so I am very pleased. Thanks to Lisa's help who has been teaching me and riding her. Just thought you would like to hear how she is getting on.
Bought from Susan Cox in June 2007, six weeks later this fantastic horse stood Working Hunter Champion at the Royal Norfolk Show. New owner and rider Tim Fairburn says: “We were told about a wonderful horse, but the owner insisted on vetting the purchasers and would only sell to someone who would produce him carefully. Luckily we fitted the bill.”
I just thought I would send you a picture taken on Thursday at our first meet this season. Pie is a real honey, we're having lots of fun and he is really is turning out to be well worth the wait!
Hope you are well. Thought I'd send you a few more pictures of Jimmy (foxy). We once again braved jump cross this time doing a lot better than last and as you can see from the pictures he is looking well and enjoying his work. We have also attempted a working hunter class at a local show along with the usual coloured and cob classes, this was my first working hunter and we did well although a refusal at a brush fence meant we did not get placed. I think the first picture of the two is just brilliant. He is a lovely boy, he has come very far in a year and is quite popular at the riding club, he done very well at novice dressage the other day getting a 4th at 63.75% which I think is fab as we still have a lot of work to do, and Jimmy was happy as he received polo's and apple cores from his fans, random people who just come for a hug usually!

Purchased from Susan in August for my 16yr old daughter. He has been a superstar, everything Susan said he was and everything I ever wanted for my daughters first horse. We are looking forward to producing him through the grades and develop him into a great little horse to match his larger than life character and his wonderful attitude. Winning his second newcomers was the icing on the cake we are now looking forward to a bright future. Many, many thanks again to Susan!!!!!!
"I bought my 4 year old Irish sport horse, who is by Captain Clover, from Susan last June. I am so happy with her and having so much fun. She is so straight forward and genuine with a fantastic jump, being placed already in discovery! I have so much confidence now, as Susan is always there to give advice and help me out if I need it. I would certainly go back to Susan again if I was looking for a second horse." (Clare Johnston)
A beautiful coloured gelding found by Susan Cox on the Acle marshes, near Great Yarmouth as a youngster. American Apache is a fantastic allrounder having won the title of the Absolute Horse Magazine Allrounder Final in 2007 as well as competing in cross country events and showing, attending the Royal International Horse Show twice.
Horse of the Year Show 2007 and 2008 Small Hunter winner. Ridden by Katie Jerram and now owned by Vanessa Ramm the Irish-bred Connemara x TB is from Ireland where Susan finds most of her horses.
“I’ve kept my horses at six different livery yards but I can honestly say that Kilbally Horses is the best…” (Busy primary school teacher Toni, who sent her riding club all rounder for schooling in dressage and show jumping)
“I can honestly say that I can’t think of a more professional caring yard anywhere in the vicinity. I’ve currently got two horses with Sue including my 24 year old mare who has produced several foals at Hill Farm…” (Phillip Ellick)
“I’ve known Sue for many years, and she is an excellent horsewoman who looks after her horses extremely well. I would like to recommend her yard to anyone looking for livery or training, its very quiet and in an ideal location for keeping horses.” (David Ellis FRCVS, retired, formerly NEH, Newmarket)
I bought Kurt from your yard not so long ago, and I just wanted to update you on how everything is going. Firstly, I changed his name to Soda! and he settled in very very well. He is a pleasure to handle and loves his fuss and cuddles. Straight away I started have lessons twice a week with a girl called Tammy Ruffles who is an Olympic dressage rider. On Sunday we entered our first dressage test (mine also) and came 6th out of 18 with a very respectable score of 66.92. Its safe to say, I love him dearly, and all my confidence has been restored. We go hacking nearly every day, always in company at the moment. He had to deal with a lot on his first trip out the day after I got him home, we had crow scares, clanky bird scarers, other horses, a truck with a noisy trailer and dogs barking, the next day was bin lorries! But he was super safe and sensible. I was away recently so he went to Tammy's yard for a bit of extra schooling, so now he is even more fantastic.
We bought Ruby from Susan in May, and he is an absolute superstar. He is everything she said he was, and we have great hopes for him as a JRN horse in the future. He will spend the winter doing dressage and BSJA, and then begin the 2010 eventing season in March. Thank you so much Susan, Ruby is amazing.
Riva Celebration was broken by Susan and sold to Lily Gibbs who has had numerous wins in working hunter, showing, show jumping and has been on several pony club teams.
